It’s time to spring into action and focus on the health and wellbeing of our nation. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are continuing their focus on ‘health’ and as you may be aware, have recently issued a ‘HSE Safety Alert’ in connection with Mild Steel welding fumes which also features in our latest edition of Ternarius.

Our world of work is changing at a rapid pace with the aid of technology, science and other innovations, the United Nations amongst others have deemed it timely to celebrate a significant scientific achievement which transpired 150 years ago! That is ‘The Periodic Table of Chemical Elements’, famous for being the ‘universal language’ of scientists across the globe, it is being promoted during this celebratory year in an ongoing effort to engage people of all ages and inspire the next generation of budding scientists.

Our lead article ‘Celebrating 150 years …’ provides a brief overview to the history and development of ‘The Periodic Table of Chemical Elements’ and directs you to where more information, resources and community support can be acquired. You will also appreciate how ‘dreams can become a reality’ and what a vital role the table plays in our daily lives. Other articles featured include the ‘HSE Safety Alert’, Workers Memorial Day’, ‘Manage Dangerous Substances’ and ‘Work 2022’. Cast your eyes over these articles, read how you can join in and drive simple changes towards improving the health and wellbeing of your staff and the wider communities in which we operate.

This newsletter is freely distributed to our clients and other interested parties! Keep your eyes peeled for future publications.
